Publish what you pay - Australia's proposed mandatory anti-corruption reporting standards

The Corporations Amendment (Publish What You Pay) Bill 2014 sets the stage for Australia to formally align its governance standards with those of the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. If passed, it will require Australian-based extractives companies to report payments they make to governments on a country-by-country, project-by-project basis.
