Potential pitfalls in anti-corruption strategies, says UNDP

Asia-Pacific countries have undertaken the challenging task of developing anti-corruption strategies, showing that corruption is not seen as taboo anymore and signaling that governments are reaching out to different sectors of society to join forces against corruption, a new report has said. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) report released on International Anti-Corruption Day (9 December) reveals that despite the progress, anti-corruption strategies have often failed.
