Findings of The Business Case to Counter Corruption -- a joint survey by the Alliance for Integrity and industry body Confederation of Indian Industry -- were launched 9 December, International Anti-Corruption Day. Among the main findings: 84% of respondents say the lack of an anti-corruption programme impacts negatively on the cost of doing business. Sixty-nine percent think Indian companies are not sufficiently aware of anti-corruption regulation in India. The survey finds that reduction in corruption is a big challenge mainly due to lack of sanctions.
