Nepal anti-graft agency wants private sector also under its ambit

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) wants to amend the  Prevention of Corruption Act (2002) so that it can initiate probes into irregularities in the non-government sector, which is involved with a large amount of public money. This sector includes banks with A and B-class license, insurance companies, cooperatives and business firms, among others.
