Several interfaith leaders have expressed support to the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), which is investigating the alleged bribes accepted by suspect Commissioner General Budi Gunawan through suspicious transactions. The Nahdlatul Ulama, the country's largest Muslim organization, together with the Indonesian Communion of Churches, the Indonesian Bishop Conference, the Indonesian Buddhists Association, and the Hindu Religious Council, have proposed that the KPK should be prompt in naming and trying the suspect
