The administration of Sri Lanka's new president, Maithripala Sirisena, claims that many deals worth billions of dollars signed during the previous government did not go through the proper approval process. Sri Lanka's new finance minister, Ravi Karunanayake, said many infrastructure deals involving Chinese companies are suspect.
