Indonesia to Host Sixth Global Conference of Parliamentarians Against Corruption
The Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) is proud to announce that Indonesia will host the sixth Global Conference of Parliamentarians Against Corruption, in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2015.
“Indonesia looks forward to welcoming delegates in Jakarta next year at the sixth Global Conference of Parliamentarians Against Corruption where parliamentarians will re-affirm their commitment to fighting corruption,” said Dr Pramono Anung Wibowo, Chair of GOPAC Indonesia. “The role of GOPAC as a forum for parliamentarians around the world to share best practices and to formulate parliamentary strategies in combating corruption shall be strengthened.”
GOPAC Indonesia was founded in 2012. It is part of GOPAC’s regional chapter, Southeast Asian Parliamentarians Against Corruption which also includes Timor-Leste, Philippines and Malaysia.
