Citing a source from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), a Malaysian daily reports that politicians and decision makers have been selling tenders for public projects resulting in the loss of up to hundreds of billions of ringgit. Graft-busters reportedly cannot stem the practice due to the lack of powers under the existing laws.
