[ap-intact] INFO: Sentence for corruption depends on how offence occurs, says Singapore Chief Justice

Correcting the misperception that corruption in the private sector is usually punished with a fine, Singapore's Chief Justice clarified that sentencing in corruption cases depends on how the graft was committed. In a written judgment, he said that with governments outsourcing public services, there is an increasing need to hold the private sector accountable for the public services they are responsible for delivering.
