New Zealand Boost Anti-Corruption Efforts In The Pacific. A new Pacific-wide anti-corruption partnership has been launched between the Government of New Zealand and the United Nations Pacific Regional Anti-Corruption (UN-PRAC) Project, in an effort to improve the livelihoods of people in 13 Pacific Island countries.

PNG’s ex-PM Peter O’Neill buys $6m Warrawee house as Point Piper digs quietly sold. Mr O’Neill returned from Sydney to PNG in May to give evidence at a corruption inquiry into the UBS loan affair in which the country’s leaders are accused of breaking the law in 2014 in approving a $US1.2 billion load from the Swiss bank.

Bougainville finance minister to face corruption trial. Bougainville's caretaker Finance Minister Robin Wilson is to stand trial in the Papua New Guinea National Court on four charges of corruption.

FIJI :

Corruption lands former CWM hospital staff in jail. A former employee of CWM hospital who admitted to falsifying a receipt and causing a loss of $54.40 to the hospital was sentenced to 10 months imprisonment by the Suva Magistrates Court this week.
