APEC anti-graft network may forewarn China of fleeing officials

The first meeting of the network, which is part of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), was held in Beijing in mid August. Officials exchanged information on the network and nominated contacts, and also discussed related procedures, precedents and international cooperation in hunting down corrupt officials and seizing their assets. Training to conduct international anti-corruption enforcement in the future was also discussed at the meeting.
