Vanuatu:

MPs' Pardon Hopes Rest With Parliamentary Committee. The Vanuatu government says any consideration of pardons for jailed former MPs would have to be made by a parliamentary committee.

Tougher laws to erase money laundering. Papua New Guinea has moved to eradicate domestic and external money laundering and terrorist financing under new harsher laws and tougher penalties.

PM shrugs off outstanding warrant. Prime Minister Peter O'Neil has declared he will resign immediately as Papua New Guinea's prime minister if evidence shows he has corruptly pocketed just one Kina.

Solomon Islands:

Prosecution on conspire case. Prosecution will be sorting out the charges against the two men accused of conspiring to breach a court order at a logging camp in East Areare, Malaita last year.
