Transparency International's new report, Just for Show? Reviewing G20 promises on beneficial ownership, which assesses how G20 countries have implemented the High Level Principles on Beneficial Ownership Transparency, finds that overall performance is poor, with 15 of the G20 countries having weak or average beneficial ownership transparency legal frameworks in place, and with Asia-Pacific countries having average or weak frameworks.
