In January 2016, Transparency International will commence a four-year Asia Pacific Regional Programme entitled ‘Effective and Accountable Governance for Sustainable Growth’. The programme has the following four primary goals:

1.       Enhanced Social Accountability and Role of Civil Society

2.       Strengthened Anti-Corruption Legislation

3.       Strengthened Enforcement of Anti-Corruption Mechanisms

4.       Demonstrated Business Integrity

In order to facilitate the project design process, which will take place between December 2015 and February 2016, TI's Asia Pacific Department will commission four short reviews of the above work areas to explore potential opportunities and challenges to achieving impact under these areas.

There are four consultancy assignments available. The work must be completed in December 2015.

The region is also ranked as the "least peaceful region" according to the Global Peace Index.
