Fiji:
No answers for $100m question. Finance Ministry
representatives attending the Public Accounts Committee could not explain how
funds amounting up to $100million annually were disbursed saying "they

FRCA officer charged by FICAC for
receiving bribe. Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority officer has been charged by FICAC

FIU lobbies for phone tapping. Fiji is not complying
with international standards of protecting the country from the enrichment or

Vanuatu:
Accused MPs in court next month. Eighteen Vanuatu MPs,

Opposition says LNG money handled
corruptly.
The leader of the Papua New Guinea Opposition, Don Polye, has accused the Peter

Solomon Islands:
Minister Accused for abusing power’s
in office.
Bodo Dettke, Minister of Forestry has come under heavy criticism with
allegations of misusing and abusing his power as minister, influencing and
stopped SLH Timber Corporation Ltd to carry out logging activities and

MP criticizes public sector. A Member of Parliament

2,000 bribe exposed. A Magistrate Court
official in Honiara has exposed a SBD$2,000 (US$258) cash bribe he was offered

Car sale questions. An opposition
politician in the Cook Islands says he wants more transparency over the sale of
