Improve corporate governance.  Bangladesh Finance Minister AMA Muhith has called for more efficiency and transparency to improve corporate governance for sustainable businesses in his speech at 5th ICSB National Award 2017 for Corporate Governance Excellence, organized by The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh.

Vietnam arrests former deputy minister as part of graft crackdown.  Police in Vietnam arrested Le Bach Hong, former deputy labor minister, on allegations of economic mismanagement, as the communist-led government presses on with a crackdown on corruption.

Foreign investors will be protected, says Dr M.  “Malaysia will protect foreign investors keen to invest in the country, but who may be mistreated due to corruption when dealing with government officers, said Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.”
