Panama Papers sparked action against more than 100 Australian taxpayers.  Investigations into tax evasion and crime identified in the Panama Papers by an Australian specialist police taskforce have resulted in compliance action against more than 100 taxpayers.

China secures return of hundreds of corruption suspects.  China’s anti-corruption efforts have netted hundreds of fugitives fleeing graft investigations from overseas, including 33 of the Communist Party’s 100 most wanted suspects, the government watchdog said, along with 7.47 billion yuan (€1 billion) in bribes.

Cambodia, China sign new MoU on money laundering.  Cambodia and China last week signed an agreement to exchange financial intelligence to combat money laundering and terrorism financing, though experts said the Kingdom should still be doing more to tackle an issue that has long persisted in the country, in part, due to local corruption.
