Massive open online course on extractives governance. The Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment, the Natural Resource Governance Institute, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), with support from the World Bank, will launch the 2nd edition of the free massive open online course (MOOC) "Natural Resources for Sustainable Development: The Fundamentals of Oil, Gas and Mining Governance" on 12 September 2016 (12-week course).

Malaysia to freeze, seize and forfeit ill-gotten wealth from corruption. New Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Chief Commissioner, Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad said stern measures including freezing, confiscating and forfeiting properties acquired by corrupt practices and abuse of power will be enforced more aggressively to combat corruption in the country.
