New phase of Pacific Regional Anti-Corruption Project launched. The second phase of the United Nations Pacific Regional Anti-Corruption (UN-PRAC) was launched in Suva.

PNG:
Fight against corruption high on PNG agenda. When the Papua New Guinea parliament resumes, the fight against corruption is expected to be high on the agenda.

Fiji:
Information Bill should be withdrawn: FLP Leader. The Fiji Labour Party believes the Freedom of Information Bill should be withdrawn because its contents impede on and take away the rights of the people.

Code of Conduct Bill should come under PM’s responsibility: Fiji Labour Party. The Fiji Labour Party has strongly come out saying the Code of Conduct Bill should come under the Prime Minister’s responsibility rather than the Attorney General’s Office.

Elections Office signs MOU with Fiji Financial Intelligence Unit. The Fijian Elections Office will now be able to properly facilitate political parties’ campaign financing tracking.
