Government ministries should be held accountable: UNDP. Fijian Government ministries should always be held accountable for the funds they use.

Vanuatu:
Disgraced Vanuatu MPs guilty of conspiracy. Eleven former Vanuatu MPs, already serving jail terms for corruption, could now be facing much longer sentences after being found guilty of conspiring to defeat the course of justice.

Money lost to illegal fishing tops $600 million US. The money Pacific countries loss to illegal, unreported and unregulated tuna fishing in the region is estimated at $616 million, according to figures provided by the Forum Fisheries Agency.
