PNG:
Police hunt Chinese national over massive fraud. Police in Papua New Guinea's National Capital District say they are on the hunt for a Chinese national alleged to have stolen over a million kina (about US$330,000) from a local company contracted to process visa applications from Chinese nationals wanting to work in PNG.

Vanuatu:
Conspiracy case against former MP adjourned. A Vanuatu magistrate has adjourned the conspiracy case against a former prime minister, Joe Natuman, and the former Vanuatu Police Commissioner, Aru Maralau.

Cook Islands:
Minister being investigated for corruption. A Cook Islands Financial Intelligence Unit investigation is about to get underway into Deputy Prime Minister Teariki Heather and the Opposition says he should step aside.

Solomon Islands:
New chair of leadership body. The Solomon Islands Leadership Code Commission has a new chairman after the death of Francis Luza at the end of last year.

Fiji:
Ex-Corrections officer allegedly tried to interfere with prosecution witnesses. A lawyer for the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) told the Suva Magistrates Court that former Fiji Corrections Commissioner Colonel Ifereimi Vasu has attempted to interfere with prosecution witnesses.
